How does diet affect a child’s cognitive development?
What our children eat and how they move fundamentally affects the functioning of their brains, their ability to learn, concentrate and cope with not only school demands.
Workshop for parents with Hana Lang
When: Wednesday November 19, 4–5:30 PM
Where: Maple Bear Primary School, Kavčí Hory Office Park, Na Hřebenech II 1718/10, Prague 4
Admission: free
We all know that eating affects our health. But did you know that the composition of a school snack can have a direct impact on your child’s well-being? That nutrition affects not only immunity, but also attention, the ability to learn and manage stress? And that scientific studies already confirm this?
We often carefully choose the best school for our children – but at the same time, we give them a diet every day that can directly weaken their ability to concentrate or memory.
In this workshop with Hana Lang, a heilpraktiker and nutritional therapist with more than 25 years of experience in holistic medicine, we will look at the topic of nutrition from a new perspective.
Mrs. Lang does not come to dictate what to give children to eat, but she will help us understand why it is important to perceive the connections between nutrition, health and mental well-being.
Come and get inspired and get acquainted with the environment of our school.
We look forward to seeing you at Maple Bear!
