Ceremonial Groundbreaking of the Maple Bear
The reconstruction of the new Maple Bear Bilingual Elementary School was officially launched in Prague 4. The event was attended by distinguished guests, including Her Excellency, Ms. Emily Ann McLaughlin, Ambassador of Canada to Czech Republic, Ms. Emily Ann McLaughlin and Deputy Mayor of Prague 4 Ms. Irena Michalcová,. Together they performed the ceremonial groundbreaking. The guests had the chance to tour the new school buidling, and had the opportunity to explore the campus, engage in discussions about Maple Bear’s expanding presence in the region, and learn about its unique bilingual education approach which parents in the region embrace. The new Maple Bear School in Prague marks an exciting expansion following the success of the Maple Bear brand across the region, including schools in Poland, Romania, Bulgaria, Serbia, Albania, and Ukraine. This development builds upon the strong foundation already established in Czechia, where Maple Bear has successfully launched schools in Brno and Olomouc. The Maple Bear Prague school aims to provide high-quality learning experiences, further strengthening Maple Bear’s presence and commitment to academic excellence in Central and Eastern Europe and providing opportunity to the children in Prague.
The ceremonial groundbreaking for the future Maple Bear Bilingual Elementary School took place with the participation of distinguished guests. This special occasion was celebrated together with the school team by Ms. Emily Ann McLaughlin, Ambassador of Canada, Mr. Christian Mallé, Commercial Counselor of the Embassy of Canada, Mr. Yann Bidan, General Manager of Maple Bear Central and Eastern Europe, and Mr. Jiří Zelenda CEO of Maple Bear Czech Republic.
The guests at the ceremonial groundbreaking had a unique opportunity to tour the school premises, familiarize themselves with the innovative bilingual teaching methodology, and closely examine the school’s facilities, including student uniforms. Maple Bear aims to provide top-quality education based on proven Canadian pedagogical standards, which have been successfully implemented in schools around the world.
