Maple Bear Prague is a Czech-Canadian elementary school offering nine years of primary education in the environment of a small, family-oriented school. We grow gradually, with a maximum of two classes per grade, so that everyone knows each other by name and children feel safe and naturally part of the school community.

From September 2026, we will open a preparatory class, Grade 1, and Grade 2. We combine the Czech curriculum with Canadian educational standards and draw on long-term experience from both Czech public and private schools, complemented by an international team of educators and education specialists.

Children learn in both Czech and English naturally, through experience, exploration, and meaningful activities. A high level of bilingual education goes hand in hand with ensuring that children feel happy, learn through play, enjoy learning, and can develop at their own pace.

The school strikes a perfect balance between guidance and freedom – children learn independence while feeling supported. As a parent, I am very satisfied with Maple Bear – I especially appreciate the friendly environment and the individual approach to children. The teachers are patient, creative, simply great, and I can see that our daughter really looks forward to school. A major plus, and one of the reasons we chose this school, is the bilingual education. Another reason was the first impression of the school staff, which my husband and I got during the open house. Overall, Maple Bear gives me the feeling of a safe and stimulating place where children develop quickly and acquire new skills.

     Maple Bear Praha

What I value most at Maple Bear is that children are naturally guided every day toward important life values. My daughter comes home not only with beaded bracelets but also with topics like solidarity or freedom, which we can continue discussing at home. The school helps broaden her horizons in the right direction

     Maple Bear Praha

What sounded like nice talk during the school presentation truly surprised me in practice. Every day, I see how much individual attention the teachers give to the children and how kindly and respectfully they interact with them. I value most how they help children manage conflicts – they support them, guide them toward solutions, but they don’t solve problems for them or leave them alone

     Maple Bear Praha

When we chose this bilingual elementary school for our children, we hoped to find a place where they would feel safe, happy, and motivated to learn. What we discovered here has far exceeded our expectations. From the first days, our children felt completely at home. They look forward to school in the morning and often tell us at the end of the day that they don’t want to leave yet. As parents, this is one of the clearest signs for us that the school truly offers something exceptional.

     Maple Bear Praha
